This project for the dredging of the access channel in Port Mathurin, Rodrigues has been carried out by Sotravic for the Mauritius Port Authority in 2009. More than 20,000 m³ of mud and trash were removed from the access channel on the western side of the Port Area to increase the depth of the channel to allow navigation of fishing boats even at low tide.  The project also provided shelter for the Port tugboat in bad weather conditions. Sotravic mobilized its dredger Watermaster Classic III to Rodrigues for execution of the project.
